Acceptable Use Policy
This policy defines how Genteable may be used for B2B outreach. It requires lawful prospecting, working unsubscribe handling, and responsible use of connected email and LinkedIn accounts.
Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all customers and users of Genteable. It supplements our Terms of Service and defines permitted use of outbound features.
Permitted use
- B2B sales engagement where you have a reasonable basis to contact business prospects.
- Research, enrichment, and personalized drafting for legitimate GTM workflows.
- Sending email and LinkedIn outreach from accounts you own or control.
- Campaign workflows with human review before send, unless you explicitly enable automated launch.
Prohibited use
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages without compliance controls or unsubscribe handling.
- Purchasing, renting, scraping, or reselling contact databases without lawful authorization.
- Scraping LinkedIn or other platforms in violation of their terms.
- Impersonation, deceptive subject lines, malware, phishing, or fraudulent content.
- Rotating or warming mailboxes to evade provider limits or abuse detection.
- Harassment, hate speech, or targeting of personal consumer inboxes at scale.
Compliance requirements
- Include a working unsubscribe mechanism in marketing and cold outreach emails sent through the platform.
- Honor unsubscribe and opt-out requests without delay.
- Respect plan limits, send delays, and approval gates configured in your workspace.
- Maintain accurate sender identity and physical or electronic contact information where required by law.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, request remediation, throttle or suspend sending, or terminate accounts that create compliance, deliverability, or legal risk.
